GODTAGS, THIRD DAY, ROCK OF AGES FESTIVAL, THE CANDLE RADIO...

This past Saturday, the GODTAG Christian Jewelry TAGTEAM made their debut at the annual ROCK OF AGES FESTIVAL in Calistoga, CA.

There were six of us and 8,000 or so of them! Very exciting, lots of work, but best of all, we were able to Wear the Word & Share our Faith! People came from all over Northern California to hang out for a day with Christians having good, clean, fun...something you don't see often enough!

We had a great view of the stage from our booth & were smack dab in the mix of fun, food, music, & ministries. People seemed genuinely excited about our GODTAGS & putting them "out there" gave us just the kind of feed back we need in order to continually improve upon the idea.

200 counselors are needed this year to be part of a team who are:

1) confident on the saving message of Jesus Christ
2) prepared to share that to anyone, anytime
3) trained to counsel at the Oct 3rd outreach so that many know the commitment and are directed to local churches for follow up and discipleship.

TRAININGS ARE THIS WEEK WITH BRAD BUTCHER AND FRIENDS FROM LUIS PALAU MINISTRIES.

Last night we had the privilege of being part of a benefit to raise funds & awareness for the PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTER of NAPA VALLEY, ROCK OF AGES FESTIVAL, &

THE CANDLE RADIO at the home of RAY CENTANI (ROAF fearless leader). Phil Joel, former member of the highly popular Christian band THE NEWS BOYS not only entertained us, but made us think. His challenge was are you ready to say to God, "Whatever you want...whatever it takes."

We were honored to TAG Phil with his favorite Verse: JEREMIAH 33:3. We also TAGGED his friend & keyboard player Anthony with: ROMANS 8:28. Great night. Awesome music. Amazing message.

WHY WEAR YOUR FAITH?

AS I CONTINUE TO SEEK & SEARCH "THE GOOGLE" to find out more information about Christian Jewelry, I'm discovering that this idea to "wear your faith" is actually a trend that has been picking up speed over the past 5 years. So we're amazingly on the edge of the wave...maybe even the cutting edge.

People have been adorning themselves with crosses & other religious icons since time began, but the question one must ask is simply this..."What does it mean to you?"

Recently, a good friend was rushed to the hospital & later diagnosed with Cancer. As she lie there overwhelmed by the news of her condition, the attending nurse came in & at once, my friend Ella Mae noticed the Cross around her neck. Before the nurse could utter a word, Ella Mae pointed to the Cross & said with great concern, "What does that mean to you?" The nurse did not hesitate for a moment & replied, "I'm a Christian & Jesus is my Lord & Savior." A wave of comfort filled Ella Mae as she realized the person she most needed at that very moment was sent to her... a sister in Christ. She then said to the nurse, "That [The Cross ] is important."

It is important. So many people adorn themselves with icons of which they have no understanding or connection, but wearing the Cross should not be taken lightly. The Cross means something profound. It is the single most recognizable image that takes us back to an event that happened 1980 years ago...give or take a year. Wearing the Cross or The Word of God for that matter, should mean that you belong to Christ. He is your Lord & Savior...

1 JOHN 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

That you will declare Him before men knowing that He will declare you before God... and that's good to know!

MATTHEW 10:33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

So consider next time you see someone wearing a Cross around their neck or wrist or finger... or Tatooed in full color spanning the breadth of their back... consider asking them the question, "What does that mean to you?" It may just be your opportunity to share the true message of the Cross with someone who needs to wear it on the inside as well.

KEEP ON TAGGING!

Now that we've announced the "re-birth" of our latest creation... www.mygodtag.com, we are spending nearly every waking hour feeding, burping, changing, & attending to it's every need... but isn't that what it takes to grow an idea?? What a privilege to have God at the center of our life AND work!

There are so many different reasons why people are excited to TAG someone they love; whether for a birthday, wedding, going away, or just to give a blessing, these little seeds of the Gospel are being planted & touching lives all over the country!

Yesterday, a man TAGGED his girlfriend who was leaving to go on a cruise with a SWORD OF THE SPIRIT & JOSHUA 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." How appropriate!
